With the increased popularity of betting touchdown props, it’s a little harder these days for bettors to find value in this weekly NFL props market. However, because of price discrepancies across books, having multiple outs is the best way to be profitable with the prop.
Each week I’ll find my three best touchdown props among the NFL odds for the Sunday slate. They might not be high-win probable plays, but if they aren’t, they’ll certainly be +EV. I’m up 16.295 units over five weeks and have hit nine of the posted 15 TD plays.
For Week 6, I’m back on a familiar winner, hitting a player who has the most yards without a score in the league, and buying the dip on a receiver in Jacksonville.

We’re close to putting a bow on another fantastic regular season of NFL football and like every other season before it, there’s been standout teams and standout bets, for reasons both good and bad.
Hopefully, if you’ve been a regular consumer of this article, you’ve been able to take advantage of some of the standout NFL betting trends that I’ve been pinpointing every week. While some cooled off as trends tend to do, others have stood the test of time and remained consistent moneymakers throughout the season.
With that in mind, here’s my list of my favorite trends that I uncovered and cashed in on during the 2023 season. Keep in mind, some of these are in play in Week 18.

The Jim Harbaugh era is off on the right foot for the Los Angeles Chargers, who aim to improve to 2-0 when they cross the country to play the Carolina Panthers in Week 2.
Los Angeles is a heavy road favorite in Carolina, and my Chargers vs. Panthers prediction is for J.K. Dobbins to be a multi-faceted threat in a likely Bolts win.
I run down the spread and Over/Under total for this non-conference clash and give my best NFL picks for September 15.

My best betJ.K. Dobbins Over 10.5 receiving yards (-120 at BetMGM)
My analysisBlending my football fandom with my inner comic book nerd, I’ve come up with a catchy name for this new-look Los Angeles Chargers offense: “The West Coast…
Ed Woodward has warned it may not be “business as usual” for Manchester United in the next transfer window, the executive vice-chairman saying that spending hundreds of millions of pounds on a player could ignore the financial impact of coronavirus.
Covid-19 has caused the suspension of football since early March and there is uncertainty over when it will return. Woodward pointed to this when assessing the level of finance Ole Gunnar Solskjær may have to strengthen his squad.

Zilina is a pretty town of squares and churches with a population of a little more than 80,000 that sits at the confluence of three rivers in the mountains of north-west Slovakia. It was, frankly, an incongruous place for a revolution in English football to begin, but it was there in 2003 that Chelsea played their first game under Roman Abramovich, a routine 2-0 win over MSK in a Champions League qualifier. Their last may come at Norwich in a couple of weeks, or perhaps at home to Brentford a fortnight after that, depending how soon a buyer emerges and how quickly the deal can be finalised. But it will be soon and, a couple of months after completing the full set of possible trophies by winning the Club World Cup, the Abramovich era at Chelsea will be over.

“We know this isn’t normal,” said Aleix García and yet, he insisted, nor was it chance. Either way, it was historic. At 8.20pm on 27 September 2023, the other García, Eric, headed in the goal that put their team into the lead against Villarreal, on course for another win, to carry them above Real Madrid, above Barcelona and above everyone else. This isn’t supposed to happen, but it had. On the long bus journey home, heading up the east coast in the dark, even the manager admitted he had scrolled through his phone and taken the screengrab that proved it. Pop to the kiosko on Thursday morning, if he could find one, and there it is to cut out and keep: Girona Futbol Club are top of the league.

A record six quarterbacks were selected in the top 12 picks in 2024.Take it from this part-time fortune teller: One or a few of them could be very good this season. One or a few of them could fall on their face or watch from the sideline.Wait, you wanted specifics? Um, sure thing, you got it.But remember that we said *part-time* fortune teller. So when you read these rankings of how the first-round rookies will fare this season, from No. 1 to No. 6, know that we could turn out wrong. We won’t know for sure until the real answers reveal themselves during the season on any given Sunday (or Monday) (or Thursday) (or Friday) (or Saturday) (OK, let’s get on to the list).1. The top 25 is littered with pinpoint passers or dual threats, ranging from Bryce Young to Devin Leary to Tyler Van Dyke and K.J. Jefferson. For programs returning subpar starting quarterbacks, the offseason was about ironing out the deep wrinkles in their existing starters or hoping a clipboard-holding QB would rise up between the spring and September to bury that aforementioned 2021 starter six feet under the depth chart. For better or worse, ya got what ya got at this point. If you assessed college football’s final AP top 10 poll of the 2021 season by each starting quarterback’s QBR and where those ratings ranked among their peers, here’s what it would look like. (UGA) – Stetson Bennett – 86.7 (3rd) (Alabama) – Bryce Young – 87.6 (2nd) (Michigan) – Cade McNamara – 75.4 (24th) …
Top of the eighth, none on, one out, and Matt Thornton catches David DeJesus looking for strike three. The White Sox are well on their way to avoiding a sweep. OK. Looks like Starlin Castro is up next, and—hang on. A.J.? Yo, A.J.? What the—where's he going? Hey! Wait. Did everyone forget? Don't they know—ah, whatever. They'll figure it out soon enough. [ MLB] …
Euro 2016 has kind of sucked. There haven’t been more than about four honest-to-goodness entertaining games, the over-expanded field and the resulting imbalanced matchups have given us too many teams too content to play—“play”—for 0-0 draws, and only a couple of the best teams and players have put on shows worthy of the event. So it made sense that today’s Portugal vs. Wales, Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Gareth Bale, Meh Team vs. Formerly Fun But Now Boring Team was another nigh-unwatchable spectacle that, at the very least, mercifully ended after 90 minutes. Seriously, almost nothing of interest happened all game. The performances of Wales, and Bale in particular, were probably the biggest disappointment, as they looked so good and fun for much of the tournament. Bale made some pr…
